Teaching in Romania
Since joining the EU, Romania has enjoyed increased prosperity
and an ever greater number of tourists. Romania’s new position
in the European arena has improved the employment opportunities
for those who speak English.
However, the level of English spoken in Romanian society varies
and depends on your age and educational background. Everybody now
wants to improve their English.
This means that we have a huge range of different projects that
have asked us for help with the teaching of spoken English. You
could help introduce children on our orphanage projects to English
from an early age, work with groups of school children in primary
and secondary schools or teach English to more advanced students
and adults in one of the many English clubs.
When you join, we’ll ask you to send in a CV detailing your
background, experience and objectives. We will then match you up
to the best project that suits your interests and experience.
