Work Experience with Global Volunteer Projects

At Global Volunteer Projects we don't need to tell you that work experience is important. If you are a a budding doctor, nurse, physiotherapist, journalist or interested in a career in teaching, care or conservation, gaining worthwhile work experience can make the difference between getting the job and continuing to search for the right position.

Global Volunteer Projects work experience programmes are as much about learning as it is about giving. Our work experience programmes are designed to incorporate learning the local language and something about the local culture. All our programmes include, where applicable basic language courses as well as 'culture' courses. This may be drumming in Ghana, Yoga in India or learning Swahili in Tanzania.

Importantly, our work experience placements also include time spend on a course. This could include time on a journalism course, in a medical school, a tefl course or learning more about conservation in the field.

Global Volunteer Projects working overseas projects are about volunteering, giving your time and perhaps crucially not getting paid. Our placements include teaching projects, journalism work experience, medicine work experience, conservation projects, working in orphanages and HIV awareness projects in India, Ghana, Mali, Tanzania, Cambodia, Poland and Guatemala for the ultimate experience working overseas.

We look forward to seeing you working overseas with us soon.
