Tanzania is a fascinating country to visit. It's riches include
a plethora of world famous national parks such as the Serengeti
and the Ngorogoro crater, filled with highest concentration in the
world of the worlds most famous wild animals. Travel to the coast
and laze on golden beaches that drop into the crystal clear turquoise
of the Indian Ocean. Travel across to the mysterious spice island
of Zanzibar and visit the island that was once the centre of spice
trade with the world.
Our projects are based in the bustling city of Dar es Salaam.
Dar es Salaam is Tanzania's major city and gives us the opportunity
to offer a wide variety of placements from media to medicine, teaching
and orphanage projects. Despite the hustle and bustle of the city
centre, Dar es Salaam is a relaxed and chilled out city, much less
hectic or imposing than it's counterparts Nairobi and Entebbe.
Like the rest of Tanzania, Dar is a fascinating mix of cultures.
African, Arabic and Indian influences are all pacted together and
evident in the city's streets, people and it's historic buildings
and picturesque seaport.
If it all get's too much, the spice islands of Zanzibar and the
magnificent beaches of the Indian Ocean are only a short trip away.
